SUSTAINABLE EARTH: The Habitat ReStore has made landfill diversion a top priority. In 2011 we kept over 490 tons of material out of our local landfills. By shopping at or donating to the ReStore, you are helping Habitat promote a greener community. You are also doing your part to help families realize their dream of homeownership. Every dollar from the ReStore helps us build more energy-efficient homes for more families.

Habitat for Humanity-Grand Traverse Region opened the ReStore in 2006, and it was an immediate success. The ReStore offers new and gently used home improvement materials, fixtures, appliances, and furniture to the general public at prices 50-70% below average retail rates. Products are donated to the ReStore by generous individuals, corporations, builders or organizations; then resold to generate revenues for building Habitat homes throughout Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau Counties.

The Restore is staffed by dedicated volunteers and Habitat staff members. For more information about our ReStore, for questions about which household items the ReStore takes or to schedule a pick-up please contact us at: 231-944-1182.
